- Don’t know which lens to use?

- Are you still trying to determine which aperture setting yields the sharpest images?
I know the answers to all of these questions and more. Let’s go out and get some great images together!
Half Day Birding Photography Workshops.
Half day birding photography workshops include a trip to one birding hot spot. Half days are from 7:00 AM – 11:00 am and 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM. These are the best times when the birds will be the most active. Mornings are always preferred.
Full Day Birding Photography Workshops.
Full day Birding Photography Workshops will encompass the entire day and will often include at least two great birding hot spots, but there are times when one location can last an entire day!
What Can You Expect?
You can expect to see plenty of birds as well as other wildlife. I keep a cooler stocked full of ice cold water at all times. It can get hot in Florida. Having plenty of drinking water on hand is always a good idea. Full day workshops will break for lunch at around noon where we can discuss the mornings photos over food. We can get food locally or I can bring food. Just let me know what you like.
What Do You Need to Bring?
I suggest wearing a hat, light clothing that breathes easy and closed toed shoes. There may be some walking involved and sandals and flip flops are a very bad idea. I would also suggest bringing your favorite sunblock and insect repellent. Bring all of your camera gear and make sure you have plenty of charged batteries and memory cards. You are going to need them! As always, bring your sense of adventure!
My Birding Photography Workshops tend to sell out quickly.
